The 2022-2023 Game Bird Hunting Season has started! Don’t forget to check out our other bird unit: Makua Kea’au PHA. Please be sure to review the “Outings” waypoint on the map which is purple. This will describe to you the proper access points and procedure to get into this unit.

January 9, 2023 at 6:51amBig Island has public hunting areas that have wild turkeys. I would contact the local Forestry and Wildlife office to get more information on that island’s game bird seasons and hunting units
