I had a pleasant walk in Adams Woods October 1, looking for pinesap emergence after the recent rain. As I headed up the slope past the stream with the upturned tree (still in Lincoln, I believe), I noticed significant treadway damage — loose rocks, churned-up soil — on the slope. Bike tracks were visible in the damp soil. Elsewhere the treadway was fine, but the slope was definitely compromised.
