I’m traveling to the Kona area next spring. How’s the turkey hunting ?

I haven’t hunting to many places in Kona, I have friends on the Hamakua coast with farms so I tend to go there. In Kona Pu’u Wa’a wa’a is good turkey habitat and above Waikoloa in Keamuku is also good.

Heading to Pu’u Wa’a wa’a or to Lanai? I have recommendations for either. Pu’u Wa’a Wa’a goat/non-typical best place is low almost along queen K highway

Ah. Lanai, with the drought/dry weather I’d say find a place with springs. Depending on the truck you rent , Keamuku or four pines.
