Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities closes the road to Hatcher Pass from MP 14 to Independence Mine.

3/29 UPDATE: The road is now CLOSED between MP 14 and Independence Mine. DOT&PF Avalanche specialists are monitoring the area. The road will reopen when the snow pack stabilizes.
