My friends and I decided to do the Crosstown trail on a picture perfect sunny day on Sunday some time in April. We didn’t entirely know what to expect other than the mileage we were up against. We started at candlestick, and ended at Sutro baths right at sunset. It was the most amazing, magical, ethereal experience any of us have had in the city. We laughed and cried and grew closer as we danced and pranced across the city. We ended up walking 23 miles in order to get food at the end, and if there is one last tidbit I can entice you all with, is that food never, ever, EVER! tasted better.

I can’t wait to do this hike again, and again. I will never stop telling people about this hike. Thank you Bob for the magical trail.
