Some of the most colorful parts of the preserve can only be accessed on a docent tour! Come out on Saturday or Sunday (until Mother's Day) for a chance to visit expanded areas! Even from Cook Lane, the colors are gorgeous! I drove my elderly aunt who is unsteady on her feet out, and we could smell the flowers just by opening our windows. We did some great car-based birding, too.
