The Shevlin Commons neighborhood covers 76 acres on the far west edge of Bend, abutting the 652-acre Shevlin Regional Park. It includes sites for 66 homes, a community center and walking trails connecting to the park. Approximately 44 acres of the property has been deeded to the Bend Metro Parks and Recreation Department as a Conservation Easement to be maintained as a buffer to the park. The community was developed with a comprehensive set of CC&Rs and Design Guidelines intended to provide a unique residential living environment in harmony with the natural character of the site and the surrounding park lands.
