The Outdoor Learning Center (OLC) at Lake Metigoshe State Park is excited to host this camp as part of our summer series of OLC Day Camps, which focus on environmental education and outdoor recreational skills.
Shoreline Adventures Camp will start at 9am and everyone is shore to have fun! We'll learn the basics of paddling a kayak and head out on School Section Lake to identify birds, check out beaver lodges and partake in a turtle safari! The day will wrap up with some time at the LMSP swimming beach, which is where participants should be picked up at 4pm. All participants should bring their own swimming trunks/suits.
Registration for the summer series of OLC Day Camps opens May 1 at noon via https://bit.ly/LMSPShowClix. The cost is $40/participant per day; participants must be the described age at the time of camp. Participants can register for multiple camps within the summer series as different activities are planned for most camps.
Participation is limited so it is highly suggestion to register promptly.
This camp starts at 9am; campers should be dropped off at the main office no earlier than 8:45am and picked up at the LMSP beach at 4pm.
To maximize their experience campers should bring a water bottle and should wear bug spray and sunscreen. Snacks/lunch will be provided.
