Enjoy the 28 miles of trails on foot, bike or horseback. Take in the sweeping views and secluded meadows, as well as seasonal streams and ponds. The park offers more than outdoor recreation; guests can also learn about the rich history of the Pacheco Pass area, from the indigenous people to Spanish missionaries and Mexico land grants to the arrival of U.S. prospectors and settlers. Grab some water and a picnic, and join the Tule elk, deer, golden eagles, and many other wildlife, soaking in the unspoiled solitude and beauty preserved at Pacheco State Park!
