Description
This small beach is a popular place to view sunsets and Vineyard Haven Harbor. The waves at this beach are usually small. The beach supports a variety of nesting shorebirds, from the federally-threatened piping plover, the State-listed Species of Special Concern least tern, and the American oystercatcher. Their nesting success varies from year to year.
