Desert View Trail Alt route

This trail is accessed using the walkway from the Mountain Station. From the walkway, you will head southwest into Long Valley. This 1.5 mile loop trail features five areas where you can see exquisite views of the Coachella Valley below. On a clear day, you can see the Salton Sea and Mount Charleston in Nevada. You do not need a wilderness hiking permit to use this trail.
