Description

If you arrived by bus, stop at the information station to review a map and plan your next move. You can take a short walk up the hill using a switchback to start your adventure at the Visitor Center. Another option from this spot - between May 1st and September 30th - is to head out on the Wetland Trail. This three-mile trail follows a gravel road and immerses you in the Refuge's many wetlands. There are options to shorten the trail and connect with the River Trail that will bring you back to the Visitor Center.
