Description

The City of San Ramon offers The Grey Fox Loop as one of five featured hikes for Fall 2020.  The loop consists of multiple trails to return hikers to the starting location.  Hikers will start at the entrance to the Bishop Ranch Regional Open Space at Morgan Drive.  Hikers will begin a strenuous ascent into the hills following the Grey Fox Trail until they reach the Grey Fox to Streamview Trail connection.  Once hikers reach the Streamview Trail they will continue their ascent through a shaded path following Norris Creek until they reach the ridge line at the Red Tail Hawk Trail.  Hikers will experience spectacular views of the San Ramon Valley and Mount Diablo.  Hikers will enjoy a flat path along the ridge line until they begin their descent down the Grey Fox trail and back to the starting location at Morgan Drive.  The trails in the Bishop Ranch Regional Open Spaceare owned and operated by the East Bay Regional Park District.  Please follow all posted rules and good hiking etiquette when hiking the Grey Fox Trail.
