Description

Starting a Creekside Park, hikers will explore some of the best trails in San Ramon. With an initial ascent up the Dougherty Valley Ridge Trail, the views will be worth the leg burn. After enjoying what the ridge has to offer, drop down using the Quail Run Trail that runs behind the Dougherty Valley Service Yard and puts you at the Rancho San Ramon Community Park. The Quail Run Trail crosses Dougherty Valley Rd and hikers will pick up the Old Dougherty Road Trail, which parallels Alamo Creek and its West branch. The West Alamo Creek Trail eventually takes hikers back to Creekside park, rounding out this great adventure!
