ANGELES DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT ORDER No. 915-21-001
PARK CLOSURE – TOPANGA STATE PARK
Effective immediately, to provide for the security, safeguarding, and preservation of resources, all backcountry trails and areas of Topanga State Park are hereby closed to public access from May 18,2021 until further notice. This closure is necessary to reevaluate the resource damage from the current Palisades Fire and provide for the safety of the public.
This closure will be in effect immediately from May 18, 2021 until further notice.
Violators are subject to ejection, citation, and/or arrest.
Only those persons authorized by the District Superintendent may enter or remain in this area.
Exceptions to this closure order must be granted in writing by the District Superintendent, Angeles District, 1925 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas, CA 91302.
Nothing herein shall affect any existing private contract or property rights.
Nothing herein shall be construed in derogation of others provisions of law.
