Description

2/1/2021 - Russian Fort Elizabeth State Historical Park is OPEN.

The boulder-built fort stands as a reminder of Russia’s short-lived adventure (1815-1817) in the Hawaiian Islands. Massive stacked-stone walls of the fort are a mixture of Hawaiian construction and Russian design. Self-guided walk available.
